The Eight of Hearts Person: "Emotional power" is the most obvious attribute suggested by your card. Whether this will translate into "The Power of Love" will largely depend on what you call love. The Eight of Clubs Person: Eight is the number of power, the Club suit merges this power with the mind, making your card the symbol of "mental power." You're used to overcoming many obstacles and a good memory is your forte. Yours is one of three fixed cards. The others being the

Eight of Diamonds Person: The Diamond suit brings the power of
your Eight to the realm of values. Too often those whose birthdays identify them
with this card only recognize its force as a power in material values. But the displaced
Queen of Spades in the indicates that there is also a subtle, spiritual power
hidden in this card. One of the most significant factors about your card and its
influence on you is its placement in the top center position of the Crown line
(see Figure 1).
For this reason, your card has become identified as the symbol of the Sun. This
amplifies the power implied in your card and the variety of expression through

Eight of Spades Person: Although your card is most commonly
identified as the symbol of power through labor, this certainly does not
necessarily limit this expression of power to that which is accomplished through
the "sweat of the brow." True, this card usually implies hard work,
but as associated with the Spade suit, this Eight also suggests a productive
power through the expression of spiritual energies and the application of higher
wisdom. Since this card occupies the Saturn position as both a Birth Card and a
Displaced Card, it's fortunate that it also implies that you have the potential
strength to cope with the challenges suggested by this planetary influence. To
the unenlightened, this may bring burdensome tasks which are primarily
accomplished through grim determination and physical energy. Their criteria of
success being based purely on material and monetary achievements. Unfortunately,
an ability to do exceptionally well in mundane matters may minimize your efforts
to develop the higher octave of your power. The tremendous energies symbolized in your card suggest that you can overcome just about any obstacle, which also implies that you may have a significant potential for healing. In this respect, whether it be through the conventional channels of healing, or through metaphysical practices, you might be particularly effective in activities related to health.
